Thanks for a...I love those colors for Strokkur!! <br /><br />Thanks for all of the tips about gauge--I'd never even thought about taking a gauge square along to shop for buttons. <br /><br />Last week I finished knitting my first sweater (not really my first, but I don't count baby sweaters or this horrible purple & gray variegated knitted tape yarn t-shirt sweater monstrosity I made in college), and I'm so so happy with how it turned out. The pattern was Reine, by Alexis Winslow, and I used Brooklyn Tweed Loft in woodsmoke. It's kind of reignited my love for knitting, and I'm hoping to start another sweater next month. I'm thinking about Sister Olga by Olga Buraya-Kefelian, in Quince & Co. Lark in kumlien's gull. I'm a total chicken when it comes to colors...I love looking at and knitting with them, but I'm not quite brave enough to wear them. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
